An electrically rotated turntable changes the direction of a rail transfer cart where workshop tracks meet.
A cart arrives on the turntable, the platform rotates to the selected track, and the cart continues toward the next station. A recessed arrangement can align the turntable with the surrounding floor and rails.
Powered rotation connects different rail directions.
Recessed installation supports a coordinated floor-level layout.
Turntable geometry is matched to the cart wheelbase and rail gauge.
The lifting or transfer arrangement is selected around your load and site. Share the required capacity, dimensions and operating sequence to define the configuration.
Provide loaded cart weight, wheelbase, track gauge, rotation angle and foundation constraints. Dimensions and capacity are project-specific.
Electric rail-transfer turntable
An electrically rotated turntable changes the direction of a rail transfer cart where workshop tracks meet.
A rotating rail deck connects intersecting track directions. Its rail gauge, useful deck length, wheel support and foundation interface must match the cart rather than merely its nominal load capacity.
Changes the direction of a rail cart at workshop junctions where direct curved track is unsuitable. The installation must protect the pit perimeter and coordinate approaching vehicles.
Before work, authorised personnel confirm the load and its centre of gravity, the permitted machine configuration, the route and receiving position. Complete the checks specified for the equipment, verify protective functions by the approved method and stop if a defect affects safe operation.
Align and secure the turntable before the cart enters. Position the entire cart and load within the approved envelope, prevent cart movement, rotate, then confirm rail alignment and locking before exit.
After the task, place the load on stable supports and leave the equipment in its prescribed safe state. Record faults and abnormal events. Maintenance or jam clearance requires secure isolation of relevant energy, including stored hydraulic, pneumatic and gravitational energy.
Keep the entire rotating sweep clear and do not bridge a rail gap by driving across a misaligned deck. Interlocks, locking indication and the permissible load envelope require functional checks before service.
Inspection frequency, wear/discard criteria, lubrication, brake adjustment and replacement parts follow the supplied instructions and applicable local requirements. Only competent personnel may maintain the equipment; return to service follows the prescribed checks.
This is an equipment-selection and operating-principle overview, not a complete operator manual, lift plan or certificate. Verify rated load, duty, geometry, environment and protective functions against the nameplate, approved drawings and delivered instructions. Do not combine separate series maxima into one promised configuration.
Requirements follow the destination and installation, not the website language. China: determine the applicable GB/T references and statutory equipment obligations. EAEU destinations: check the applicable TR CU/EAEU regulations, amendments and conformity documents. English-speaking markets: select the relevant national rules; US OSHA and UK HSE references are not universal law. EU projects require their own applicable conformity assessment.
